Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sport career when she was 14 years old. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she was able to make her debut as an amateur against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd followed up to win three fights consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the fighters she beat were defeated within the first minutes. Then, she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen had previously defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia had a superior record to Aspen who beat her with a unanimous decision. Cynthia's amateur records were destroyed. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first fight with a bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission at the end of the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her fight in the third round through TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. As for her final fight for Promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. In Aspen's UFC debut took place on UFC Fight Night 118 when she was up against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina as she used a combination of ground and pound to take the win via TKO during the second round. She continued her dominance and picked up a more impressive win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger. The fight was at UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger in just the first minute and was awarded a prize for the performance of the evening. Her first major fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The two fighters had a battle of back and forth that ended with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters receiving an award known as the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in less than 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya after the third round on UFC at ESPN 7. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
