Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10, 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. who was a tool and die maker who previously employed as a laborer for an industrial company. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was in second grade when she entered kindergarten at the age of five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania was the place where she earned her diploma in 1975. She was also a contestant in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, and was crowned Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to take on a modeling job, signing up at the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. The next step was Europe in the course of a year living with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was disillusioned with the fashion industry that was thriving in Europe decided to take up acting in Europe. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," a film that received mixed praises.
