Aura Sanchez Garrido is an actress for Spanish television and film. She has acted in Stockholm, as well as TV shows El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido was born in Madrid in 1989. Her father Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and her mother, Pilar Sanchez, works as a painter. Following her first piano lesson at the age of four when she was four, she began learning ballet. It was her most trusted friend who could speak English who taught her the English language. When she finished her high school studies She enrolled at the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico which is located situated in Madrid and studied interpretation up to her third year, specializing in textual interpretation, but she dropped out in the year 2010 due to being chosen for the movie Planes para manana. Her nomination for a Goya Award under the category of"Best Emerging" actor, and was awarded the Silver Biznaga award for her part in the film.
